Our client wishes to grow their Kenya and Tanzania branch and therefore we are looking for someone with a network in one or both of these countries. The focus should be on civil and energy projects.

Scope of responsibility:

Under the supervision of the Directorate General of COMPANY X, you are responsible for the development of seats in Kenya and Tanzania and follow the implementation by your staff strategies and business development programs approved by the group.

General description

• Responsible for Kenya and Tanzania in close collaboration with the Directorate General of COMPANY X, you lead and plan all activities of your branch, you are his first business and you also make compliance with quality indicators, including terms of relationships with clients. 
• You are guaranteeing your income statement and the achievement of fiscal targets

You also ensure the safety of crews and equipment

Activities And Responsibilities:

• Develop together with the Directorate General strategies to grow the business in the local market and implement
• Perform market analysis and proactively prospect for national and international clients
• Manage daily different seats in the scope of responsibility granted by the Directorate General (Kenya and Tanzania)
• Identify and implement new projects that meet the development objectives of the Group
• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients by establishing long term relationships and strategic action plans
• Build a network of contacts by attending various events
• Closely monitor the progress and implementation of various projects and projects to achieve the expected level of excellence while respecting the budgets
• Ensure compliance with payment terms of customers
• Establish and manage the annual budget (under the supervision of the Directorate General of COMPANY X)
• Administrative oversight of business operations, including reporting, action plan, calls, followed by discounts and offers, etc.
• Optimize the speed, quality, proactive, cost-effective operation of the company
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to employees in a clear and effective.
• Empower employees with the objectives of the Group's growth
• Guide and motivate employees to achieve the objectives

Skill required

• Extensive experience in the management and implementation of projects including the development of bids.
• Good experience of financial management (budget, income statement)
• Perfect knowledge of French and English spoken and written.

Training required

• Industrial Engineering or equivalent through experience
• Experience of ten years in a similar position
• Exposure to the African environment is an important asset
