Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification, Red Seal Certificate - Industrial Instrument Mechanics
Experience: 5 years or more
Type of Service and Repair: Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic sequential control systems, Electronic process instrumentation, Pneumatic process instrumentation, Multiple loop control systems, Primary control element and sensors maintenance and application, Programmable logic controllers (PLC), Temperature, pressure, flow and level instruments, Speed measurement indicators, Density, weight or viscosity instruments, Spectrometers
Type of Instrument Experience: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electronic, Electrical
Type of Industry Experience: Mining and smelting, Manufacturing
Specific Skills: Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems, Repair and adjust system components, Remove and replace defective parts, Install new control instruments, Calibrate components and instruments, Determine testing and maintenance procedures, Install new measuring instruments
Additional Skills: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work, Complete test and maintenance reports, Read circuit diagrams
