Risk Consultant
Job Description:
- The risk consultant's duties will involve assisting the project manager, focusing on the risk aspects of project scope, schedule, cost, and quality. Also, the risk consultant will identify potential project risk and forecast the probability and extent of impact.
This position requires:
- A Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering, finance, economics, or business.
- 6+ years of related experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Advanced knowledge of risk management
- Experience with analytical tools, PC's, word processing, and database software
The Risk Consultant will:
- Compile project documents including contracts, estimates, budgets, schedules, cash flows, permits, environmental documents, correspondence and logs
- Cost and Scheduled review and analysis: ensure compliance with contract, cash flow etc., best and worst case scenario, executive summary report (including budget risks, variances and projections)
- Assess risks potential to impact project safety, quality, schedule, budget and cash flow, create resolution plans, assist project manager, construction manager or construction coordinator in negotiations with regulators, contractors, and other project stakeholders
