Job Description:
The EM activity is an uprising exploration market and [Company] is presenting an excellent opportunity to an electromagnetic geophysicist based in Italy. My client is a successful international service company working in the oil and gas market. The main duties and responsibilities include working and interpreting different geophysical data and work flows, supporting EM operations and lead various EM DP&I projects.
Essential Job Experience:
• Experience processing EM data, both passive and active methods
• Hands on 3D modeling and interpretation of a number of EM data
• Specific capabilities and experience with magnetotellurics data
• Integration of EM data with gravity and seismic data
Qualifications: 5+ years experience
Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor's Degree gained at an accredited University/Institute
• Required: Master's Degree gained at an accredited University/Institute
Applicant Requirements:
• Support EM operations from the processing and modeling point of view
• Provide requirements for the EM R&D plans of software and algorithms development
• Lead EM DP&I projects for oil and gas, geothermal and mining exploration
• Strong team working skills
Additional added beneficial skills
• PC applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Some experience working in a multi-cultural environment is desirable
• Candidate will be fluent in English and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
