Geoenvironmental Engineer

Job Purpose Summary:
An exciting role for a budding Geoenvironmental Engineer to become part of a successful and expanding multi-disciplinary consultancy. Applicants must have proven experience of at least one year in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities:
• Site walkovers
• Obtaining site services information
• On-site management and supervision of sub-contractors and site plant
• On-site soil sampling and soil logging for geotechnical and contaminated land purposes
• Preparation of borehole logs using Holebase
• Monitoring and sampling of gas and groundwater wells
• Liaising with clients and their agents
• Relevant liaison with regulatory authorities
• Phase I and II geotechnical and contaminated land report writing

Qualification/ Experience requirements:
• BSc in a relevant subject (geology, hydrogeology or a related discipline)
• MSc in a relevant subject desirable
• Associate membership (minimum) of a relevant professional institute
• At least 1 year experience working within environmental consultancy.
• All applicants must have proven consultancy experience and be eligible to live and work in the UK.
