Integration Architect
Responsibilities
- The Integration Architect is responsible for leading the design and development of software used to integrate systems to enterprise or third party systems. This individual must contribute to establishing and champion the adherence to the integration strategy.
- The Integration Architect will ensure the technology solution vision addresses and aligns business, analytics, data, application and technical architecture appropriately.
- Participate in developing a SOA strategy.
- Design, coordinate and monitor all integration strategies.
- Initiate, develop, and instigate a progressive program of continuous integration improvements.
- Work actively with development to ensure that integration strategies are known, understood, and adhered to.
- Understand and help refine requirements and solution based on needs, which might span multiple systems and technologies.
- Provide expertise and leadership to develop overall integration architecture for layers of a solution which might span business process, systems, hardware, operating systems, applications and networking environments, as well as platforms.
- Engage on projects to ensure the overall integrity of the enterprise solutions throughout the solutions lifecycle.
- Train and mentor other developers to assist in the development of integration strategies and solutions.
- Develop integration patterns to be applied to all integration scenarios
Qualifications
- Five (5) + years’ experience in a broad variety of integration techniques, patterns, tools and methodologies.
- Two (2) + years’ experience of Integration Architecture and design
- Experience in SAP PI and the Enterprise Services Repository preferred
- Experience or knowledge of web services, ESB, SOA, distributed applications and interoperability.
- Experience implementing an enterprise integration solution.
- Solid and proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner, lead working groups, negotiate and create consensus
- Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
