This company is looking for a qualified and talented Mine Surveyor to join them on a short term contract and support their operation. This is an excellent contract opportunity to secure for the New Year. 

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, your duties will include managing and maintaining the survey control database for open pit operations, utilise your surveying skills to investigate mining methods as directed by the Mining Engineering team as well as general surveying as required for site infrastructure. You will also be required to maintain accurate survey reference marks. You will be part of a close-knit and successful surveying team. 
 
You will have a tertiary degree or diploma in Mine Surveying and experience in an open pit operation. Surpac and Trimble GPS experience is essential, as is a can-do attitude and great communication skills. For your ability you will be rewarded with a competitive daily rate and a great challenge.
