The Client
Boasting a long term presence in the Newcastle market, our client has identified the need to provide their audit team with a workload that does allow a fair degree of “home time” equating to a better work/life balance. This will allow you plenty of time to continue your studies or recapture some of your missing “social” time.
Understating the importance of offering variety and flexibility, this position may be suitable to a Business Services Accountant that wants to broaden their skill set or an Auditor looking to do the same.
The Role
Along with continually developing you technical skills within a solid training and development structure, you will also be provided with the opportunity to enhance your knowledge by working closely with all of the partners and managers of the firm, thus benefiting from their experiences.
Splitting your time between supervising two trainees, participating in all audit assignments and assisting the firm with their busy compliance commitments, this role with provide you with a complete “rounding” as an accountant in public practice.
The Candidate
Seeking a "level headed" Business Services or Audit Accountant with a minimum of four year’s experience within Australia, you will be provided with the opportunity to be part of this local firm’s continual success and growth.
Looking towards the future, you will be comfortable completing your CA and taking on more responsibility within the firm as your experiences grow.
This role would be ideal for someone that is looking for a firm that still has traditional family values and respects and supports their staff.
