About our Client
Profitable gold producer with open cut and underground operations in Western Australia.

Job Description
This position reports to the COO, carrying responsibility for direct management of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Projects, Safety and Purchasing & Logistics divisions to include all site operations, environment, contractor management and business performance with around 300 total staff on site. The role has previously worked on a 4:3 roster, however this can be flexible.

The Successful Applicant
Applicants should demonstrate significant experience in open cut mining, ideally with gold or base metals. A degree qualification in either mining, geology or metallurgy is a minimum requirement but those with a mining engineering background will have an advantage.
