Senior Metallurgist / Plant Manager

Our client, a industry leading Mining operator currently require the services of a Senior Metallurgist / Plant Manager with experience of setting up new processes and procedures for a new plant.

This Senior Metallurgist / Plant Manager role will see the best candidate secure a high profile position working on one of the largest new iron ore mining developments in Western Australia. The role will be Perth Based for at least the first two years until production starts, which will lead into a FIFO role as Plant Manager.

Essential Criteria for the role of Senior Metallurgist / Plant Manager:

* Minimum 5 – 7 years Operational experience.
* Degree Qualified – Metallurgical or Mineral Processing
* Good understanding of setting up new processes and procedures
* Previous experience in process plant design
* Experience in project development
* Strong Technical Knowledge
* Computer literacy
* Excellent Communication Skills.
* High Level of interpersonal skills.
* Experience and ability in supervision
* Be an Australian resident; hold a valid visa or permanent residency.
