Book Keeper / Office Administrator

Our client, a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy based in East Perth, is seeking a highly driven and friendly Book Keeper / Office Administrator to join their vibrant team of professionals in 2012!

They are looking for someone who is helpful, has a great attitude, and who is able to slot into their family-like culture. Supporting a close-knit team of 20, your role will be diverse and will encompass a wide range of book keeping functions. Your main duties will include:

  • Monthly Payroll
  • Preparation of BAS Statements
  • Banking
  • Invoicing
  • Formatting job proposals while offering creative new ideas on how to modify and improve templates
  • Updating the website
  • Providing administrative support to the whole office including the Directors, Engineers, Designers and Inspectors
  • Filing
  • Answering incoming calls and managing messages
  • Providing tea and coffee to clients and staff

Checklist:

  • Open and approachable personality
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of MYOB
  • Impeccable presentation
  • A desire to hold a permanent, stable position
  • Superb knowledge of MS Office
  • A friendly and helpful attitude
