Contaminated Land Consultant

Salary: £21000 - £25000

We are seeking an experienced contaminated land consultant for an international multidisciplinary consultancy based in South Wales. Working within an award winning organisation, you will assist in managing a range of private commercial developments.

The successful candidate will work within a team of engineers scientists and consultants on a range of phase I, II and III contaminated land assessments. Typical duties will include design of assessment methodologies, site walkover surveys, historical research, intrusive site investigation supervision, remediation project supervision, and production of detailed technical and interpretive reports.

Suitable candidates will have a relevant environmental degree ideally with an MSc in contaminated land or a relevant subject. Further to this candidates should have experience producing detailed quantitative risk assessments for human health and groundwater contamination.
