Contaminated Land Consultant (3 month contract)

We are urgently seeking an experienced contaminated land consultant for a prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy near Newcastle. This will initially be a 3 month contract and the successful applicant will assist in the management and site supervision of land quality projects.

It is essential that candidates can demonstrate a track record of consultancy experience.

Typically you will be responsible for; site monitoring, site walkovers, preparing and producing technical reports, soil sampling and analysis and client liaison. We are seeking candidates who have of experience producing technical reports on geo environmental projects.

Suitable candidates will have an excellent academic background, relevant degree qualifications include BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology.

This position is on a fixed term contract basis with a view to becoming a permanent role.
