Part-time Casual - Lab
Position Summary
- Prepare and analyze coal samples in a safe and efficient manner.
- Target Responsibilities
- Operation of precision lab equipment (Training will be provided, if needed).
- Entry of lab results into computer databases
- Maintain and repair lab equipment
- Lifting and carrying of samples, up to 35 lbs. in weight, on a routine basis.
- Preparation of coal samples according to ASTM standards
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a two-year associates degree or four-year degree in a technical field.
- Requires a good work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Work rotating shifts
- Availability for working overtime, as the workload requires
- Knowledge of Excel and SAP preferred
- Use of PPE to include safety glasses, dust mask, metatarsal shoes, etc.
