Summary: 

• With direction from Project Controls Analyst team members, this mid- level position is responsible for planning/scheduling, budget, cost control and expediting. 

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Includes, but not necessarily limited to the following.  

• Develops expediting plans, establishes communication with vendors, and provides vendor information to project team members.
• Tracks and reports vendor liquidated damages.
• Tracks and reports on vendors¿ contract performance.
• Works closely with the Vendor Document Control to ensure timely return of vendor deliverables.
• Assists Project Controls Analysts in the development, updates and maintenance of resource loaded project schedules, particularly with regards to procurement and vendor performance. 
• Assists Project Controls Analysts in the development of budget and cost reports, earned value analyses, and resource planning and allocation. 
• Attends project meetings to assist in gathering information for the design development process.
• Assists in developing projections for project.
• Utilizes the Operations Quality Assurance Manual.

Qualifications

• Must be organized. 
• Demonstrated written and oral communications skills. 
• Must be knowledgeable of basic project management principles. 
• Must have a high degree of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive information. 
• Must be knowledgeable of commercial terms and conditions as applicable to contract management.

Computer Skills: 

• Proficient in Excel and Word, and a high comfort level in a database environment.  Some exposure to Primavera software is desirable. 

Education and/or Experience: 

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering, Construction Management preferred, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts or Business and/or 3 to 4 years¿ project related experience considered.
