Junior Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• [Company] is seeking a junior level Engineer to assist in the design, operation and maintenance of oil, gas, slurries, tailings and other pipeline systems. This position will be located in [Company] new Walnut Creek, California office.
• The successful candidate will be involved in the design of pipeline systems including hydraulic friction loss calculations, pipe sizing and material selection, specification and sizing of process equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, thickeners and cyclones. Candidates should have 2 -3 years’ experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector with the design, sizing, selection and/or maintenance of process equipment was required. Job Requirements:

• BS degree in Engineering;
• Minimum two year experience in an industrial plant environment or an engineering service company;
• Demonstrated previous experience with pumping and piping systems considered an asset;
• MS Office competent – strong Excel skills preferred;
• Excellent verbal and written skills;
• Solid organization and time management abilities;
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude;
• High level of personal integrity with a strong work ethic;
• Willingness to travel internationally as dictated by project demands;
• Multiple language capability a plus;
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred;
• Pass a pre-employment physical including a drug screening and background check; and
• Authorization to work in the United States.
