There is an immediate vacancy with Cytec Canada Inc. for an

ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

The successful candidate will possess an Industrial Instrument Technician (447A or equivalent) Certification.
Preference will be given to candidates who also possess a valid Construction/Maintenance Electrician Certification (309a or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years experience working in this trade is also required.
The candidate will perform varied maintenance and repair work of high grade at our Niagara Falls, Ontario facility by installing, maintaining, repairing and calibrating instruments for measuring and controlling conditions such as flow, level, pH, pressure, weight, and gas composition.
An ability to interpret work orders, drawings, sketches, specifications and other instructions regarding scheduled and emergency repairs is required.

Work also requires expert troubleshooting and wiring of complicated instruments, testing and calibration equipment such as specialty tools and meters, digital test equipment, and personal computers with applicable software.

Use of standard electrical and electronic devices is also required.

Annual compensation is $70K+, not including overtime and annual bonus.
