Electrical Superintendent

Cahill has an immediate need for an Electrical Superintendent for our ongoing projects in Labrador City.

The Electrical Superintendent will manage, plan, and monitor the electrical aspects of a major commercial or industrial construction project from start to finish as a key member of the project team. The successful candidate will supervise electrical trades people and ensure QA/QC inspection and testing requirements are adhered to, be required to take off quantities of materials and equipment for procurement. The Electrical Superintendent will oversee the preparation and submittal of shop drawings, estimate change orders and interact with company management, and client representatives.

The successful candidate will have a Journeyperson certification and a minimum of ten years construction experience with five of those years in a supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to successfully interface with clients and project team members are required.

The work schedule is a 4 week on, 9 days off rotation. This position offers a competitive compensation package as well as accommodation and travel.
