Inside Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a qualified Inside Sales Representative to maintain and grow relationships with customers. The successful candidate must have the ability to assess, identify, and advise customers’ needs while delivering world class customer service.
Description:
- The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting customers in person or via telephone to identify requirements, consult on their projects, assist them in finding the products they need; make independent material pricing decisions; and process orders for pickup or delivery. This position also serves as the primary point of contact through the process for the customer.
- The Inside Sales Representative will also provide support to the existing outside sales team by helping guide customers through CL processes and communicating relevant information back to the salesperson.
Responsibilities
- 75% of job: Maintain and grow an account base to achieve sales goal. Determine appropriate amount of follow up with customer to ensure projects are successfully completed in a timely manner, needs are being met, help determine appropriate products for projects. Help walk in customers and identify project requirements, assist in selecting and identifying the appropriate products. Will be primary point of contact and support for Outside Sales Representative
- 20% of job: Process orders for pickup or delivery. Utilize division support functions appropriately. Perform take-offs and quotes, make material pricing decisions, and provide product/installation expertise. Perform daily operation of center/ studio as needed (ex – closeout, transfers, sample requests, safety.).
- 5% of job: Maintain education and awareness of the following through training, association involvement, and trade show participation - design trends, CL Perspectives, CL and alternative products, construction techniques, competition, industry trends.
