Environmental Technician

  • Duties include groundwater remediation system operations, routine air and water sampling and level gauging, as well as support for remediation and regulatory activities in an ethanol plant or petroleum refinery setting.
  • Other duties include air emissions monitoring associated with leak detection and repair programs. 
  • A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is required. 
  • Preferred candidates will have experience in groundwater, soil, and air sampling. 
  • Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and have an ability to learn various database programs. 
  • This position will work independently and in a team environment and will require up to 75% travel. Candidates must have a clean driving record.
