Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

• The Senior Financial Analyst serves a vital role on the Engineered Solutions’ Segment Team. Based in Menomonee Falls, WI, this position will be responsible for general accounting tasks as while as financial analysis to support the businesses within the Engineered Solutions Segment.  The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Segment Finance Leader and partners with and supports multiple functional leaders and colleagues from the numerous different businesses within the segment.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the business planning process and consolidation of quarterly forecasts and annual plans
• Prepare monthly reporting package and analysis of results and variances
• Provide key financial and business support
• Serve as a business partner and assist other functional leaders with financial analysis and business improvement initiatives
• Actively participate at all levels of the business and with all disciplines
• Interface with corporate audit; corporate finance; and across business units to collect and/or report on business performance
• Assist with or lead special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
• Assist with acquisition due diligence and integration
• Act as a temporary resource to assist business units in times of turmoil or staff turnover
• Assist with the maintenance of a proper system of internal controls and provide SOX support to the businesses as required

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 10+ years’ experience in a multi-plant manufacturing environment or public accounting
• Ability to be flexible with changing work priorities
• Ability to travel to remote sites
• Ability to work in front of a personal computer for long periods of time

Preferred Experience

• CPA / CMA Certification
• Experience with Hyperion Enterprise Software
• Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley and US-GAAP compliant business procedures
