Business Leader - Assembly Job

Role Summary/Purpose:

• The Business Leader - Assembly will demonstrate accountability for functional, business and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to ensure successful attainment of schedule commitments
• Analyze production labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions within Center of Excellence (CoE) budget
• Instruct, guide, and provide personnel support for front line supervisors including career development and managerial training
• Drive change via key initiatives including Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Six Sigma, shop productivity, lean, and inventory cycle reductions
• Provide leadership in problem resolution, resource utilization, career counseling
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for production planning

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Import / Export business
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Leadership role
• Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing experience
