Senior Sales Account Manager

Role Summary/Purpose:

  • The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the design & sale of submersible pump equipment for the Mining, Municipal, Industrial and Geothermal market. Individual will be required to work in a "team" environment interfacing with Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, Accounting and Safety departments within the organization. Extensive travel within the Western USA and Canadian markets will be required.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build customer relationships with the assigned customer for sales
  • Support the assigned customer in sales activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities
  • Coordinate activities and establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery
  • Negotiate contracts as required
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base
  • Make recommendations for continued growth

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales position)
  • Minimum of 2 additional years of professional experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
