HR Diversity Manager

Role Summary/Purpose:

  • The Diversity Manager is a new role with responsibility for the Retail Finance business' diversity strategy, programs and pipeline development agenda. The successful candidate will focus on internal talent development along with growing an external pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates in Financial Services. The candidate will help to build and mold the formation of the job. The role will have great exposure in the organization across all levels.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Retail Finance diversity strategy and operating rhythm.
  • Develop working relationship with [Company] Capital's Affinity Groups and share best practices.
  • Oversee the business-wide diversity calendar and lead diversity council.
  • Identify and promote diverse talent across the business.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity recruiting strategy that attracts qualified and diverse talent pools and maintains an active pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the [Company] Capital Diversity Leader, HR Managers, Recruiters, and U. S. Staffing team to develop targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Partner with the [Company] Capital Diversity Leader to develop and implement major diversity conference recruitment strategies (e.g.,
  • NABA, NSHMBA, NBMBAA).
  • Participate in networking events in local and national marketplace.
  • Regularly review business Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) to identify underrepresented groups and create recruitment strategies to address.
  • Manage diverse recruitment brand using social media and other channels.
  • Remain up-to-date on recruiting news, laws, industry trends and technology.
  • Ensure that all regulatory aspects of the recruitment processes are in full compliance with federal, state, local and international law.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • You Must Be Able To Satisfy the Requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of direct recruitment experience, or high school diploma and minimum of 10 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience using a broad range of sourcing techniques, including information mining, advertising, direct research, social media, etc.
  • Prior experience working in Financial Services
  • Proven track record in sourcing diverse talent
  • Knowledge of up-to-date talent sourcing strategies and industry trends

Eligibility Requirements

  • System (COS-Internal) to be considered
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
  • You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process
  • You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
