Senior Mining Consultant: XPAC

As the Mining Technology Consultant you will implement, train and provide support for the company's mine scheduling; and financial modelling (and maintenance budgeting) software packages (XPAC and XERAS). Whilst challenging, this role will see you work across many different commodities and mining methods throughout South Africa and abroad. This role offers excellent variety as from time to time you will work alongside our senior mining professionals conducting major feasibility and due diligence studies as well as operational optimisation consulting jobs for clients across the continent. This role is sure to suit any mining professional looking to progress their career in the global mining technology space. You will also be presented with the perfect opportunity to broaden your global mining networks. To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in mining engineering, geology, accounting or business and have at least 8 years practical experience working in either coal or metalliferous mining operations. You will be highly computer literate with advanced skills in the Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Your career interests will lie within the mining technology space and it is essential that you have experience using XPAC or XERAS software. Required Experience: 10 Years
