Senior/Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer

My client is an award winning specialist Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental consultancy. They have been very successful in the current market and are looking to expand their team to increase project capacity. They are now looking for a Senior to Principal level Geoenvironmental expert to join their expanding office and help mentor junior staff and become an important part of the technical team.

Responsibilities:

The nature of this role will enable the successful candidate to combine a mixture of site work (investigation, design) and office based analysis and reporting. Being part of a growing team, the role will also enable you to become an integral part of the project management process, assisting and mentoring junior team members in project work. A high degree of client management on project work will also be expected.

Requirements:
• BSc or BEng in a related subject (Geology/Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology) ideally supplemented by an MSc in a related field.
• Either Chartered or working towards gaining UK Chartership with a professional body.
• Proven track record of geoenvironmental engineering across a range of projects in the UK. This includes soil/groundwater & remediation strategies.
• A sound understanding of UK geology/construction practice.
• The ability to work autonomously or within a team environment.
• A UK Driving Licence
