Building Envelope Field Technician
Responsibilities:
- ECS seeks a trustworthy and motivated individual to conduct field observations of building/facility related systems including: property condition assessments, roofing, masonry/flashings, EIFS, waterproofing and window assemblies for medium-to-large scale commercial projects in the greater Charlotte, NC metropolitan area. Candidates must have the ability to clearly document observations in daily written field reports. A good driving record and a reliable personal vehicle is required. Initial training will be provided with ongoing professional and safety training, but candidates should have demonstrated knowledge of building construction and prior consulting experience.
Qualifications:
- High School/GED diploma or college degree desired.
- 1-2+ years of related, building envelope facility inspection experience.
- Professional certifications [NRCA/RCI or AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector] are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Personal computer skills [Microsoft Word and Excel] required.
- Salary is commensurate with experience, knowledge and certifications.
