Are you our next Area Production Superintendent – Sulfuric?

• We are currently seeking an Area Production Superintendent – Sulfuric for our Uncle Sam, Louisiana location.   The position is responsible for both long term and short term management of the sulfuric acid department which includes efficient production of sulfuric acid, water management, maintenance, safety, environmental, area budgeting, and quality.  Provide coaching and leadership to peers and subordinates.

What will you do?

• Plans and directs sulfuric acid production activities. Establishes production priorities to ensure the department budget, production/quality results, and strategic goals are fully accomplished.
• Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, as well as develop budget and cost controls.
• Directs and coordinates, through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with production within the sulfuric acid unit utilizing knowledge of product technology, production demands, and procedures.  Responsible for safety and environmental performance of department.
• Coordinates with other departments to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
What do you need for this role?

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Chemical discipline required.
• 7-10 years industrial experience.
• Sulfuric acid manufacturing experience desired.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office:  Emphasis on Excel and Word skills.  Applicable plant operations software.
• Must possess leadership and communication skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
