Internal Auditor

Description:

  • [Company] is seeking an Internal Auditor for our Houston office. 
  • Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Perform specific portions of financial and operational audits of the Company and its subsidiaries, including its external business partners.
  • Evaluating internal controls.
  • Identifying risks and recommending solutions.
  • Preparing assigned portions of audit procedures, programs, questionnaires, and reports.
  • Reports to the audit manager while receiving guidance and direction from the audit supervisor and senior auditors.

Qualifications

  • Requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • CPA, ACA, CIMA, CISA or CIA certification, working toward certification, or accredited hours education to pursue relevant certifications preferred.

Experience:

  • Audit background -  approximately 2-4 years relevant work experience
  • Non-audit background  -  approximately 3-4 years relevant work experience
