About our Client 

One of the largest iron ore producer who has a number of projects in the pipeline in mine exploration and expansion projects is recruiting a Training Superintendent.

Job Description 

Working for a well established, leading mining operation, the Training Superintendent will report to the Training Manager, focusing on training procedures and standards to drive a competent, safe and productive workforce.

• Implementing training strategies, procedures and standards across site.
• Identify and analyse annual training requirements and initiate action plan.
• Coach Supervisors/Superintendents to build their capability in managing training requirements in their area.
• Respond in a timely and effective manner to all customer training operational requirements.

The Successful Applicant 

To gain a place in this leading company, you will ideally posses; 

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as a minimum
• 5+ years of Operational Training experience in Resources industry
• Understanding of VET issues and legislation
• Understanding of RTO's and National Training Packages
