Training Officer

My client is looking for an experienced Training Officer ADS/LHD to be based out of Perth.

The role will require candidates to provide both internal and external customers with product and technical training on ADS/LHD equipment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying Product/Other technical training requirements of technicians and support specialists.
  • Organising, coordinating and conducting product training for all customers.
  • Working with customers to develop and implement training programmes for maintenance/operation staff.
  • Assisting with diagnosis and trouble shooting.
  • preparing post training reports and outcomes.
  • Promoting OHS awareness relating to all functional aspects of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Plant Mechanic qualification or similar.
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessing.
  • Technical expertise and familiarity with trucks and drills.
  • Considerable experience in all facets of mining and drilling
  • Previous training experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Experience in a similar role within the mining industry will be well regarded.
