A superb opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a leading manufacturer based in Liverpool, Merseyside.

Due to an expansion within the Engineering department the client is looking to recruit a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to provide maintenance support to a defined section of the factory at their Liverpool, Merseyside site.

As Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias), your key features will include:

• Responsibility for the Planned & Reactive maintenance of plant equipment within a Heavy Engineering environment. To ensure the efficient running of the plant.
• Working with manufacturing equipment including silos, conveyors, hot gas systems, dryers, CHP, cooling systems, presses and hydraulics, thermal oil systems
• Working to safe operating procedures and ensuring all HSE standards are met
• Updating the SAP CMMS system
• Assess plant condition & undertake fault diagnosis & improvements where necessary.
• The Successful Maintenance Engineer will be a Time Served, Mechanically biased Engineer with experience working in a large, industrial or heavy engineering plant.
• You will have excellent communication & interpersonal skills and will have a proactive approach to Maintenance Engineering tasks.
• The successful Maintenance Engineer will ideally have experience with condition monitoring, although this is not essential.

We have previously recruited candidates that have the potential to grow and develop from industries such as Glass, Coal Mining, Steel, Foundry, Paper, Printing, Chemical, FMCG, Large Scale Food and Packaging.
