1. Main purpose of role
[Company] is a leading manufacturer of seismic systems for Surface, Borehole and Underwater applications. These cover applications in fields of Seismology, Civil Engineering and Oil &Gas. Based in the UK office you will be a key member of the Sales team to identify and develop new opportunities across Seismology, Civil and Oil/Gas markets.
2. Principle responsibilities
• Identify key technical and commercial players for our solutions globally
• Build and nurture relationships with these stakeholders
• Develop and execute a sales strategy
• Keep abreast of industry trends and practices relating to [Company] systems core business
• Preparation and implementation of marketing strategy and budget in cooperation with the senior management
• Assist with tender preparation and submission and contract negotiations when required
3. Key Skills Required
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to understand technology and how it can be applied to different applications
• Self-motivated with the will to succeed
• Computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Offices packages are essential
4. Likely experience / qualifications
• B.Sc degree in Geology/Geophysics, MSc in Petroleum Geoscience would be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years' experience in industry in a sales and marketing capacity
• Fluent in spoken and written English foreign language skills would be an advantage
• Ability to drive and to adapt sensibly to changing circumstances
• Global travel experience
