West Coast Conversion Coordinator

  • The West Coast Conversion Coordinator provides operational and planning oversight for outside converted products.  This person is responsible for moving material through an existing converter network and developing alternative converters for standard and emerging market products.
  • Primarily, this person will coordinate production planning, logistics and SAP activities for PFP and serve as a liaison between PFP and the Planning and Logistics Organizations at [Company] mills and service centers while ensuring that conversion business processes comply with standards and procedures defined by [Company], Customers and Regulatory Bodies.
  • Additionally, this person will be responsible for Sales Order Administration, Inventory Management and Negotiating with external conversion network for manufacturing time.
  • To perform this job successfully a candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality or materials technology with 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Preferred related experience would include vendor coordination and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in the role will require extensive knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures, extensive knowledge of titanium conversion processes, extensive knowledge of SAP, excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of MS Office Software.
