Key to the role of Field Safety Supervisor is the co-ordination and supervision operational rig teams.  Excellent communication skills, written and verbal are essential.  Primary responsibilities are ensuring the implementation safety standards and procedures in the field liaising between trade teams, management and stakeholders.
 
While the ability to work autonomously and organise workload are essential to success the incumbent will be uncompromisingly a team player.
 
Previous experience in safety supervisory roles is essential and will be accompanied by minimum Certificate IV OH&S and TAE preferably. Knowledge of drill methods is preferred though in lieu of this mining experience may be considered. 
 
This is a Queensland based FIFO role.  Equal time and attractive salary package offered.
