Ore Processing Superintendent

  • Residential role - 5 day week
  • Central NSW location
  • $120,000 - $130,000 neg + bonuses + super
Based in Western New South Wales, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professional mining engineers. This challenging and rewarding role will require you to report directly to the Mine Manager and hold responsibility for planning, coordination and delivery of all operation activities within the ore processing site

The Position:
  • Supervise and direct key mill personnel- shift supervisors, operations coordinator and train loader
  • Ensure the targets and objectives of the Ore Processing Department are established and correctly communicated to Mill personnel
  • Providing technical and management advice to the Mill Manager
  • Achieve optimal results throughout the processing procedure by effectively communicating with the different departs within the Mill- metallurgical, mechanical, electrical and mining
  • Ensuring a high level of safety compliance is upheld throughout the Mill
  • Provide sufficient support to personnel to ensure cost controls are met
 
The Requirements:
  • 5 years technical and supervisory experience in an Ore Processing environment
  • Financial analysis experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety, Quality and Training
  • Degree qualification in Metallurgical/ Chemical Engineering is essential
