About our Client
Great opportunity for a Safety & Training Coordinator to join a successful WA business on a preferential roster. Well established Australian mining company who offers a close company culture, promoting staff development and team work. The organisation demonstrates flexibility to employees and enables staff to choose a residential coastal location or a favorable 8:6 roster from Perth.

Job Description
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, the position carries responsibility for training and assessing use of equipment in all mining areas of the site. Development of training plans will be a key objective and management of three reports is incorporated into daily duties.

The Successful Applicant
It is essential to have practical experience operating a wide range of underground mining equipment, with a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role with a strategic understanding of training systems and the RII09 package. Applicants should hold:
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Cert IV in OHS
  • Senior First Aid
  • Emergency management, people management and strong communication skills are essential to this role.
  • Applicants will be required to complete a pre- employment medical.
