Job Description:
- [Company] is seeking qualified candidates for a couple of our top clients in the greater Louisville area. They have two openings for Safety Coordinators / Health and Safety Technicians. There is a first and second shift position available. They will both be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by identifying, evaluating and managing occupational hazards.
Perfect candidates will have:
- B.S. in Safety Engineering and Health, OSHA, Environmental or equivalent. 2 year degrees are acceptable with appropriate experience.
- Experience with ISO 14001, EPA, Federal and State environmental reporting and OSHA training and knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
- Experience planning, implementing, and coordinating health and safety programs.
- Experience with inspections and audits.
