Job Description:
  • Our client is a Global supplier of medical devices, surgical instruments, and disposable medical products. A diversified company with annual revenues of $3.1 billion with operations in 24 countries; employs more than 23,000 people worldwide who focus on providing innovative solutions for customers. Now it is looking for a production manager to run one of its plants in Mexico.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in industrial engineering or related degree.
  • Minimum 5 year experience in maquiladora environment.
  • Must have working knowledge in a manufacturing environment, preferable in an FDA environment.
  • Must have excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor direct report.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and Focused on Goals and Objectives
  • Ability to work with High sense of urgency
Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and materials inventory at the manufacturing assembly area over multiple shifts.
  • Ensure compliance to quality system and regulatory requirements at the corporate, state and federal level including the QSR, Medical device directive, EH&S and labor laws.
  • Responsible for development and administration of departmental budget
  • Responsible to meet department key performance indicators.
  • Supervise, train and develop direct reports, ensuring quality supervision for indirect staff.
  • Provide leadership on quality, cost and service improvement initiatives through the implementation of lean manufacturing and six sigma techniques.
  • Generate initiatives and implement continues improvement activities to enhance customer service through employee involvement.
