Contaminated Land Consultant (3 month contract)

We have an excellent opportunity for a contaminated land consultant for a prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy near Durham. Initially on a 3 month contract and the successful applicant will assist with site supervision, report writing and project management for a range of land quality projects.

It is essential that candidates can demonstrate a track record of consultancy experience, including expertise in site monitoring, technical report writing and client liaison.

The successful candidate will work in team and will be responsible for; site monitoring, site walkovers, preparing and producing technical reports, soil sampling and analysis and client liaison.

Suitable candidates will have an excellent academic background; relevant degree qualifications include BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology.

This position is on a fixed term contract basis with a view to becoming a permanent role.
