Maintenance Supervisor

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor who will create a proactive preventative maintenance culture that minimises equipment breakdown and manage a maintenance team in order to meet the company’s future growth and demands.

• You will ensure that the maintenance team responds promptly to key machine breakdowns and work together as a team to ensure that equipment is operational in the shortest time.
• To fully understand and apply predictive maintenance techniques.
• To adhere to the principles of 5s to their own area of work and wherever the team work in the factory.
• Coordinate the maintenance parts inventory to ensure adequate and appropriate stocks are on hand and can be accounted for
• You will act as the company’s electrical duty holder and maintain the system to the standards required

Materials/Tools:
• Quality systems manual
• ISO/TS 16949 2009
• General quality assurance methods - SPC, FMEA, trials, audits etc
• World class manufacturing tools - 5s, SMED, Hoshin, Kanban etc
