Concentrator Back Shift Supervisor (Hydrometallurgy)

Contract (renewable) Fly-in-fly-out position in the mining sector in a remote and safe area of the Democratic Rep of the Congo. Single status position (not favourable for wives and families to reside there) with a six day working week. Reports to the Metallurgy Manager.

Key Technical Skills Required:

• Metallurgical Degree/Equivalent
• 7+ years experience in the mining industry.
• Candidate must be competent and knowledgeable in all aspects of hydrometallurgical copper and cobalt production.
• Responsibilities are to ensure back shift production targets are achieved for filtration, roasting, leaching and electro-winning of finished products.

Key Competencies Required:

• Metallurgical background
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Experience in copper hydrometallurgical plant
• Good communication skills in English (French is a plus)

Remuneration And Benefits:

Annual salary up to US$110,000 (tax free plus benefits), depending on skills and experience (Grade/Level 3).
