Job Description
- [Company] Minnesota Ore Operations includes two iron ore mines in Northern MN (Minntac in Mt. Iron and Keetac in Keewatin) and has the following vacancy at the Minntac facility:
- The position requires previous experience working for U. S. Steel in a supervisory position for two or more years and a related engineering degree. The successful candidate must be an independent individual with the ability to successfully coordinate special projects to be completed in the required timeline.
- The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, setting up areas that hold parts (line side spares) and setting up Bills of Materials for those parts through the Passport system. The successful candidate will work with one or more of the Maintenance Technical Mechanical employees in the Crusher to implement this maintenance planning process, which will increase the efficiency of the Crusher Maintenance Department significantly.
- All successful candidates are subject to background checks, pre-employment physical examinations, and drug and alcohol screening.
