Job Description
- [Company] Minnesota Ore Operations includes two iron ore mines in Northern MN (Minntac in Mt. Iron and Keetac in Keewatin) and has the following vacancy at the Minntac facility:
- This position will provide support to the Employee Relations Department and is responsible for clerical duties and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to, review and categorization of a variety of departmental filing systems, audits and required actions of selected processes and practices within the department, coordination of training initiatives, benefits administration, customer service, and miscellaneous duties that ensure an efficient operation of the department.
- Responsibilities include extensive computer usage, creating and modifying documents in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel), Lotus Notes, and data entry into multiple internal computer systems.
- The position requires previous experience working for Minnesota Ore Operations in the Employee Relations Department; strong Microsoft Office knowledge; excellent oral, written, and customer relations skills; proven organizational skills with an emphasis on detail and accuracy; and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. The preferred candidate will have an Associate Degree in a related field of study.
