Geotechnical / Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer

Leading UK engineering solution provider to the Highways, Rail, Water and Energy sectors are looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer into their Division in Buckinghamshire.

Working on exciting and challenging site investigation and engineering geology projects you will be an integral part of this well established team.

The daily responsibilities will include:

• Management of Framework GI / SI
• Management of Junior Staff
• Quality Checking
• Compilation of Tenders / Proposals
• Supervising Large Scale Projects
• Managing Health & Safety

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level in Geology, Engineering Geology or Earth Sciences and have a proven track record in a Senior / Managerial positing within a site investigation contractor or similar. You will ideally be CGeol or working towards this status, and have an excellent working knowledge or both Geotechnical and Contaminated Land ground investigation techniques.

You should be proficient in the use of software such as HoleBase and AGS, and be fully up to date with the latest industry standards i.e. EC7. You will need to be organised and self-motivated and willing to work away from home.
