My client is a Global Manufacturer within the Process Control Valves and Assemblies arena with a Major Manufacturing, Service and Sales presence Worldwide. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Sales operations for a key account manager to oversee and further develop the mining industry account portfolio.
Reporting to the State Manager your main responsibilities will be:
- Promoting the company’s extensive portfolio of Process Control Valves into the existing mining customer accounts.
- Provide technical and application knowledge to customer’s process applications including preparation and implementing tenders and quotations for major customer and also Consultants.
- Implementation of market strategies including promoting new products/services
- Grow the customer base in order to exceed sales and profit margin targets.
- Full product/application training will be given to the successful candidate.
The skills and experience required for this position are:
- Trade or Technical Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Background
- Minimum of 3 years exposure with mechanical process equipment including valves, pumps, compressors and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Minimum 2 years technical sales experience selling to mining sector and Consultants within the mining industry
- Excellent Communication and Presentation attributes with strong relationship building skills
- You will be a proven Sales Engineer who thrives on challenges and success, driven by targets and enjoys working around a highly skilled team of Engineers.
