HR Officer

The HR Officer is responsible for providing day to day HR support and services to the mining and processing departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop skills and provide advice, coaching and support to supervisor/managers in line with the Client's policies and procedures; 
  •  Manage the end to end recruitment process; 
  • Generation of EOM reports, collation of departmental data, data entry and quality & accuracy checks; 
  • Assist line management with disciplinary actions, EEO and grievance resolution; 
  • Develop and implement internal processes and procedures 
  • Administration of personnel records.
Experience and Requirements:
  • The successful applicant would ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience in an HR generalist role preferably within the mining industry; 
  • Have a general understanding of HR systems and process, and familiarity with various employee relations and worker compensation legislations; 
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resource    
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation and a strong customer service focus are also essential attributes for this role, as is the ability to multi-task and co-ordinate simultaneous projects
