  • Mines Surveyors Certificate of Competency; Advanced Mine Valuation Certificate

Job Specification

Candidates wishing to apply for this position must possess the following:
  • Government Mines Surveyors Certificate of Competency
  • Appropriate NQF level 6 qualification
  • Advanced Mine Valuation Certificate
  • Registration with PLATO (Professional Mine Survey)
  • At least 10 years relevant mining survey and valuation experience
  • At least 5 years experience at the management level.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for setting survey and valuation policies, procedures and standards as well as the management and control of all Survey and Valuation work conducted, the production of layout drawings for mining purposes, and the preparation of layout drawings for mine planning short, medium and long term.
