Environmental Laboratory Project Manager

Job Summary

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Providing customer support to clients, project management, aid in the design and implementation of new client service mechanisms; generate quotations for analytical services; interact with the Sales & Marketing staff to increase client base; entering of bottle orders and or courier requests, assist with answering main line for incoming phone calls.

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two to three years in environmental laboratory industry is required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Customer Services Support To All Clients as Needed
• Generate Analytical Services Quotations
• Project Management
• Set Up Sampling Events And Maintain Sampling Schedules
• Hold Project Kick Off Meetings Internal And External (with client)
• Daily Review Of Project Folders
• Daily Interaction With Sales Staff
• Aid in the Design And Implementation Of New Client Service Mechanisms
• Must Be Organized And Detailed
• Ability To Communicate With A Wide Range Of People
• Must Be Motivated And Have A Positive Attitude
• Must Be A Team Player But Also Skilled To Work Independently
• Flexible Schedule
• Good Phone / Communication Skills
• Multi Tasked; Able To Manage Several Projects At One Time.
• Active participant in company’s LEAN/process efficiency initiative.

• Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills.
