Draughtsperson (Inventor)

Overview
Ongoing temporary position for an Inventor Draughtsperson with a background in heavy engineering.

Company
Established for over 30 years, this is a privately owned engineering company based in the North East of England specialising in the design and manufacture of complex engineering systems which involve a multi-discipline approach. The business provides subsea vehicles to the energy (oil & gas and renewable), telecoms, mining industries and to the military.

Job
Apply draughting techniques to complex designs and assignments using industry standards and codes. Create models, engineering drawings and layouts. Assist in checking drawings for accuracy and completeness. Apply acquired knowledge of relevant engineering principles to complement the design process

Experience
• Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is preferred and extensive 3D mechanical design experience is essential.
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

Remuneration
• Maximum hourly rate as below (LTD), depending on experience.
